What are missed calls costing you?
Move the sliders to match your business. Every assumption is on this page and every number is adjustable — because a calculator you can't argue with isn't worth much.

Show the detailed breakdown
- Step 1 · Missed calls per month
- Step 2 · Of those, the ones who never call back
- Step 3 · Customers you lose
- Step 4 · Revenue lost per month
- Step 5 · Revenue lost per year
Figures are rounded for display, but each step is calculated from the unrounded value before it — so multiplying the rounded numbers by hand may land a few dollars off. The 4.33 is the average number of weeks in a month (52 ÷ 12).
How the math works
No black box. Five steps, in order — and “Show the detailed breakdown” above runs every one of them with the numbers you entered, so you can check the arithmetic yourself.
- Missed calls per month — weekly calls × the percentage unanswered × 4.33 weeks.
- Callers who don't come back — of those, the percentage who never ring again.
- Customers lost — those callers, converted at the same rate you close answered calls.
- Revenue lost per month — customers lost × your average customer value.
- Revenue lost per year — that monthly figure × 12.
What this figure is, and isn't
It's an estimate built entirely from your own inputs. We don't add an industry statistic, a fudge factor, or a number from a study you can't check. If you change a slider, only your own assumption changed.
It will be wrong in one direction or the other, and the biggest reason is that most owners don't actually know their unanswered rate — they estimate it from memory, which tends to run low, because the calls you never hear about are exactly the ones you don't remember. If you want the real number, your phone provider's call log has it.
Treat the output as the size of the problem, not an invoice. The useful question isn't whether it's precisely right — it's whether the figure is big enough to be worth fixing.
What we'd do about it
We build AI receptionists that answer every call, at any hour, in your business's voice — they qualify the caller, book into your calendar, and hand you a summary. Nothing here is a quote; what it costs depends on your call volume, which is exactly what you just estimated.
Start a conversation and we'll go through your real numbers instead of these sliders.
