Alera Digital Book a call
01 — AI Receptionist

Every call answered. Even the 2 a.m. one.

An AI voice receptionist that picks up on the first ring, day or night, in your business's voice. It answers questions, qualifies the caller, books straight into your calendar, and hands you a summary — so the job goes to you instead of whoever answered second.

The call you didn't take is the job you didn't win.

When a customer's heater dies or a tooth cracks, they don't leave a voicemail and wait. They call the next name on the list. Missed calls don't show up as a line item anywhere, which is exactly why they go unfixed for years.

After hours

Evenings, weekends and holidays are when emergencies happen and when your competitors are also closed. It's the cheapest window you own.

On the job

Hands full, gloves on, in a crawlspace. The phone rings out through the whole appointment and the caller never rings twice.

Two at once

The second caller hits voicemail while you're mid-conversation with the first. Nobody staffs for peak, so peak leaks.

How it works

  1. [01]

    We learn your business

Services, pricing rules, hours, service area, what you will and won't take on, and the five questions you're tired of answering. That intake is the whole difference between a useful receptionist and a phone tree.

  2. [02]

    We forward your number

Your existing number stays yours. Nothing changes on your truck, your signage, or the listings you've spent years building. Calls route to the assistant when you can't pick up — or on every call, your choice.

  3. [03]

    It answers, qualifies, books

First ring, every time. It works out what the caller needs, whether it's a job you want, and puts real appointments into your calendar with the details already filled in.

  4. [04]

    You get the summary

A text or email with who called, what they wanted, what was booked, and the transcript. You walk out of the crawlspace to a booked job, not a missed-call notification.

What's actually included

24/7 pickup

Every call, every hour. No hold music, no "your call is important to us", no queue.

Your voice

Tone, vocabulary and greeting matched to how you actually talk to customers. It should sound like your business, not like software.

Real qualification

It asks the questions you'd ask — job type, location, urgency, whether it's in your service area — before anything reaches your calendar.

Calendar booking

Appointments land in the calendar you already use, with the caller's details and the reason for the visit attached.

Warm transfer

When something needs you, or the caller asks for a person, it hands the live call over rather than taking a message.

Transcripts & recordings

Every call written up and searchable. Useful for training, for disputes, and for seeing what customers actually ask.

Questions worth asking

Will callers know they're talking to an AI?

It sounds natural, but we don't pretend otherwise. The greeting identifies the assistant and states that the call may be recorded — before the caller says anything they wouldn't want recorded. Anyone who asks for a person gets transferred. Sneaking it past people is how you lose the customer you just caught.

Do I need to change my phone number?

No. Your existing number stays exactly as it is — we forward it. You keep the number on your truck, your signage, your Google listing and every citation you've ever built.

What happens if it can't answer something?

It stops guessing. The call is warm-transferred to you if you're available, or it takes a detailed message and texts you immediately. A caller never gets an invented answer about your pricing or availability — that's the failure mode that would cost you more than the missed call did.

How long does setup take?

Most builds go live within a week, and the work is on our side. We learn your services and rules, then test against real call scenarios before it ever takes a live call.

What does it cost?

It depends on call volume, which is the one number that actually drives the price. There's a one-time build fee and a monthly plan with included minutes. We'd rather walk through your real numbers on a call than quote you blind — the calculator is a decent place to start on your own.

Find out what your missed calls are worth.

Twenty minutes. Bring your rough call volume and we'll work out whether this pays for itself — and tell you if it doesn't.
